Our story

Hello! We’re Michael and Jill Koskoski, and we’d love to share a little about us and how this journey began.

We met online in 2017 and hit it off right away. From the very start, we shared so many of the same interests—and even discovered we have the same birthday! As if that wasn’t special enough, we later learned we had both attended the same concert earlier that year. When we looked back at our photos, we realized we actually had pictures of each other in the background without even knowing it. God was already weaving our story together long before we realized it. We started dating soon after and quickly fell in love.

Fast forward to 2023.

I (Jill) had always been a Christian, but I wasn’t truly walking with the Lord. One day, I felt a powerful pull to draw closer to Him, and it completely changed my life. That shift left Michael feeling like he didn’t even recognize me anymore. The enemy definitely tested our relationship, but God wasn’t done with us. Not long after, Michael gave his heart to Jesus—and everything changed.

From that moment on, we put God at the center of our lives. Our weekends went from cocktails and dancing to Bible studies and milkshakes. Looking back, we can see how God had a plan for us all along.

That’s when He really started moving in our lives. Michael was struggling at work and wasn’t sure how to handle it as a new believer. I encouraged him to pray and trust God’s leading. Just two days later, Michael was let go from his job—but we knew it was part of God’s plan.

At the same time, I was wrestling with my own job. I was working at Target and felt a deep conviction about the company’s values. I began praying for guidance on how I could use my work to glorify Him. Out of that prayer came a long but life-changing conversation:

“Quit your job, and start a Christian store.”

He even named it! “call it Abundantly Blessed, because you will be abundantly blessed.”

I heard Him clearer than I’d ever heard Him. But, I still had doubts. I was scared to quit my job security.

So, I asked Him for confirmation. “Lord, if you really want me to quit my job, show me something I don’t see everyday, a lime green car.”

My last day at Target was June 8th and Michael and I were married on June 9th.

There we were, no jobs, no income and no idea how to start a clothing business. But, with lots of prayer, questions and guidance from the Holy Spirit, we found our way and Abundantly Blessed Faithwear was born!

5 hours later, I walked out to lunch and there it was- parked 2 spots down from me. My heart sank.

But it was confirmed. I knew what to do.
